Some information on my first Wolff group. This is Wilhelm ( William ) Wolff & Amelia Pape descendants :

WILLIAM WOLFF was born March 30, 1830 in Pommern, 
Prussia, and died June 22, 1901 in Freeborn
Co., Minnesota, USA. He married AMELIA PAPE 1853, 
daughter of CARL PAPE and DORTHEA ?. She was
born August 07, 1833 in Pommern, Prussia (we don’t know exact location),              and died May 21, 1925 in Freeborn Co., Minnesota, USA. 

William and Amelia immigrated sometime between the years of 1862, when son Charles was born in Prussia, and 1864, when son Hugo was born in Minnesota. 
We have yet to determine precisely when thisfamily came to the U.S., what ship they had passage on, or how they made their way to Minnesota.

v. ANNA LOUISE CAROLINE WOLFF, b. March 26, 
1868, Watertown, Wisconsin, USA; d. May 25, 1945,
London TWP, Minnesota, USA.
vi. EMILIE URSULA WOLFF, b. May 14, 1871, 
Iowa; d. September 19, 1954, Park Rapids, Minnesota,
USA.
vii. EDITH JOHANNA WOLFF, b. August 05, 1877, 
Gordonsville, Freeborn Co. Minnesota, USA; d.
September 13, 1956, Park Rapids, Minnesota, USA.

EMMA married JOHN WOLFF 1876, son of JOHN WOLFF and 
ALVINA WOLFF. He was born 1851 in Pommern, Prussia, Germany, and died July 08, 1914.

CHARLES married ANNA W. E. SEEGER, daughter of FRANK 
SEEGER. She was born June 1877 in Freeborn
Co., Minnesota, USA, and died April 01, 1937 in Glenville, Minnesota, USA.

HUGO married IDA F. PERLEBERG November 04, 1887, 
daughter of CAROLINE LAU. She was born August
17, 1870, and died April 18, 1947 in Minnesota, USA.

ALEXANDER married LENA LAU October 28, 1892 in 
Northwood, Iowa, USA, daughter of FRIEDRICH
LAU and WILHELMINE BROITZMAN. She was born December 13, 
1872 in Northwood, Iowa, USA, and died October 02,                                          1956 in Northwood, Iowa, USA.

EMILIE married FERDINAND FREDERICK WOLFF 1889 in 
Minnesota, USA, son of JOHN WOLFF and ELVINA KRUGER. He 
was born March 17, 1859 in Stettin, Germany, and died 
July 17, 1922 in Park Rapids, Minnesota, USA 

EDITH married ALBERT FERDINAND KNAACK February 26, 1897 
in Myrtle, Minnesota, USA, son of FERDINAND KNAACK and 
FREDRICKE LAU. He was born December 18,1872 in 
Schicfellon, Germany, and died June 1945 in Osage, 
Minnesota, USA.

My mother remembers hearing my great-grandmother speak of Stettin , Kammen/Cammin (sp?), and the Baltic. The family communicated with relatives in Germany/Prussia for some time, however, the family was never heard from 
following the war. A trunk, used to carry goods from the old country to America, was lost due to theft. Inside were all the letters from Germany, names of ancestors, 
links to possible relatives there today.

It is our sincere wish to find descendants of the Wolff family living in Germany or Poland today. If anyone has any information that can aide us in our search, we 
will surely welcome it. We are just beginning and know very little about genealogy research in Germany.
